In 2009 the ComingWorldRememberMe brought up the idea to make 600.000 small statues representing 600.000 persons. With this initiative they want to commemorate all World War 1 victims that fell on Belgian soil by creating a symbol for every victim. From 2014 everyone was able to participate in this project by requesting to be godfather/-mother or attend a workshop in one of many locations in Belgium where you could build your own statue. On July 20, 2015 I requested to adopt a grave online. I was linked to the German soldier Paul Klemmt, my second German adoption grave.

Death of Paul Klemmt
Paul Klemmt died on May 13, 1915 in Belgium on the final day of the Battle for Frezenberg during the Second Battle of Ypres.Paul is buried at the German Soldatenfriedhof in Langemark, Belgium. He rests in Block B, grave 14855.
