A while ago I wrote a letter to Hartley Baird of the 9th Fighter Group, 30th Air Depot Group whom I met in Bastogne in June 2013. He sent me his self written memoires from the beginning of his army service in 1943, along with lots of other stuff, including a DVD with an interview.
